PEORIA, Ill. – Two Peoria men are under arrest after police say they were caught cutting catalytic converters off cars at a local dealership.
Both Charles Foster, 44, and Derrick Kline, 30, face at least six counts each of Possession of Stolen Vehicle Parts.
It started early Monday morning, when police were called to Uftring Weston on West War Memorial Drive.
No suspects were located then, but an hour later, police spotted a suspect vehicle in a nearby parking lot, along with tools thought to be used.
Foster and Kline were arrested later in the morning, at the hotel room nearby they were staying in.
Kline also faces a Theft charge, and was found to be wanted on a warrant for Failure to Appear in Court.
