Two Men Injured In A Pair Of Overnight Shootings in Peoria

A pair of overnight shootings in Peoria leave two men injured.

The first shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of West Newman Parkway.

Peoria Police say the victim was shot in the leg. His injuries were not serious.

The second shooting happened in the 2900 block of Peoria Avenue just after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say Shotspotter alerted them that shots had been fired.

The victim was later found in the 300 block of West Corrington Avenue with a gunshot wound to the leg.

His injuries were non life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in connection with either shooting.
