Shooting Leaves One Injured In Peoria

Peoria Police were called to the intersection of McClure and Sheridan at approximately 10:47 p.m. Tuesday by a ShotSpotter alert. The alert indicated that 11 rounds had been fired.

Police say a woman called 911 about her vehicle being shot at Sheridan and McClure.

When officers arrived on the scene, they located a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound inside the woman’s car.

The victim’s injuries were described as non-life threatening.

Police found the crime scene on Sheridan. No arrests have been made, and no motive has been determined.

Police are investigating.
