Peoria Shooting Suspect Arrested

A Peoria man is in the Peoria County Jail, accused of shooting another man at a South Peoria bar.

Peoria police say Myrune Linwood, 25, had been identified as a suspect in the Aug. 13 shooting at Klub Karma, 2205 SW Washington Street.

Officers responding to a Shot Spotter alert found the male victim inside the front door with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

Linwood was taken into custody without incident at approximately 9 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Main Street in Peoria. Linwood was transported to the Peoria Police Department for questioning. He was later arrested and booked in the Peoria County Jail on charges of attempted first degree murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
