Peoria Roads In Decent Shape

Peoria’s street crews were out plowing and salting the roads all night Sunday into Monday preparing for the Monday morning commute.

Sie Maroon, Deputy Director of Peoria Public Works, says the streets are in decent shape, but not great. He says there are areas that are snow packed, and some where you see pavement.

Maroon says as the temperatures rise throughout the day Monday, conditions are expected to improve.

Street crews will remain on Peoria’s primary routes through the mid-morning, then return to the residential areas for more plowing.
