Hozier – Nina Cried Power

Hozier is Andrew Hozier Byrne, an Irish Singer/Songwriter from County Wicklow and burst onto the music scene back in 2013 with his hit “Take Me To Church” He’s taken his time with new music and this one is his first in a few years and it’s a powerful one. He describes it as a thank you note to the spirit of protest especially The Civil Rights Movement paying homage to Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell, James Brown, Billie Holiday and Mavis Staples. Mavis helps out with vocals and Booker T Jones lends his fingers on the organ.

J.Mascis – See You At The Movies

J Mascis is best known as lead singer, guitarist from the 90’s Alternative Rock band, Dinosaur Jr and was named 86 on Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. He’s set to release his 6th solo studio album Elastic Days on November 9.

Tash Sultana – Salvation

Is a 23 year old Singer/Multi Instrumentalist from Melbourne Australia and just released her debut album Flow State where she played all the instruments on the recording. She’s been blowing people away around the world and this past summer on US music festivals including Lollapalooza in Chicago.
