Coach Wardle Optimistic As Bradley Begins Practice

It’s the first day of practice for the Bradley Basketball men’s team.

And first-year Head Coach Brian Wardle is optimistic about his squad.

“We’ve progressed every week. We’ve gotten better,” says Coach Wardle. “I think people that have met my players can see there is something there. There is a championship mindset that we want to have every day.”

The players will be on the court for two-and-a-half hours today. Coach Wardle says the first practice of the year “feels like Christmas.”

“Today is one of the best days you have as a coach. I haven’t slept the last couple of days I’ve been so excited.”

Bradley opens up their season against Ball State on November 13th.

Before that the team his hosting a few important events, such as the team lunch on October 12th. There
