Arrest Made In West Peoria Bar Shooting

An arrest was made after a shooting at Crusen’s on Farmington Road early Thursday morning.

According to the Peoria County Sheriff’s office, 24-year old Brock A. Ardis, was arrested in the connection of the West Peoria Shooting.

Ardis, was detained in the Vermillion County Jail before charges were filed in connection to the West Peoria shooting late Thursday afternoon.

Authorities responded to Crusen’s at 2117 W. Farmington before 4:30 a.m., after a male employee was shot and taken to the hospital. His injuries were reported as non-life threatening.

Ardis is facing charges of Aggravated Battery with Firearm; Reckless Discharge of Firearm; 5 counts of Aggravated Assault.

He will be held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
