PEORIA, Ill. – A peaceful protest is scheduled to place from the Bradley University campus Tuesday evening.
The protest is to show support of the black community and a call to action that stands against racial inequality and social injustice.
This is a student-athlete led event according to the university.
A Facebook post indicated that the peaceful protest will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday from Bradley’s Renaissance Coliseum and proceed down Main St to the Peoria Civic Center’s Marquee parking lot.
Comments will be provided by Bradley Athletic Director Dr. Chris Reynolds and other student-athletes.
