Two Resigning From District 50

Principals at two Washington District 50 schools are resigning.

Angela Ludlum at Beverly Manor and Jeff Ekena at John L. Hensey Elementary School announced they will leave the district after the school year.

The two have eight years of combined experience. The Journal Star reports the announcements come after a closed session job evaluation by the school board on Monday. Both have met privately with Superintendent Chad Allaman.

The board expects the resignations to become official in March.
