Peoria police are asking the public’s help to identify three bank robbery suspects.
Police say two men, armed with guns, allegedly robbed Commerce Bank, 2609 North Knoxville Ave., around 4:05 p.m. Wednesday.
Information gathered at the scene indicated both men left the area following the robbery in a white four door vehicle.
The first suspect is described as a male with light complexion, unknown race, with thin build and armed with a shotgun. The man was wearing black shoes, black pants, a black hooded shirt and a black mask.
Police have released a surveillance photo (above) of the second suspect. That suspect, who was armed with a revolver, is described as a black male with a medium complexion wearing a dark colored jacket with a dark colored stocking cap.
Police have also released a surveillance photo (below) of a suspect sought in connection with an alleged armed robbery at Redbrand Credit Union, 7730 N. Grand Prairie Drive.
Information gathered at that scene indicated one man, armed with a gun, entered the building about 5:24 p.m. Wednesday. The suspect ran from the scene after leaving the building.
The suspect is described as a black male with a light-medium complexion wearing a black coat with a hood on his head, a partial black face mask, dark colored pants and black shoes or boots.
The investigations of both incidents continue.
