Police Searching For Robbery Suspect

Peoria police are asking the public’s help to locate a suspect in a reported robbery.

Officers responded to CVS, 3015 N. Sterling Ave. around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a robbery to the business.

Information gathered at the scene indicated a white male approached a cashier, implying he had a weapon, and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect then reportedly left the business in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s or early 30s, 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-1, 160 to 170 pounds, wearing a black stocking cap, black coat and blue jeans.
