Man Now Faces Four First Degree Murder Charges

A Peoria County Grand Jury Tuesday indicted Clarence Thomas on three more first degree murder charges in connection to the alleged stabbing death of his wife in January. The 42 year old West Bluff man now faces four counts of first degree murder. Court files say Thomas repeatedly stabbed his estranged wife Martha when he got out of the car the two were riding in just north of downtown. Thomas will be arraigned on the additional first degree murder charges Thursday.
