Coroner's jury rules boy's shooting death accidental

(AP) - A Peoria County coroner's jury has ruled that the January shooting death of a 4-year-old boy was an accident. Austin Williams of Morton died Jan. 8 after he was shot in the head at a Peoria home. Peoria police Detective Keith McDaniel testified the boy was shot with a handgun while playing with two cousins who are 5 and 2 years old. The older cousin found the loaded gun in a bedroom. No charges have been filed against the gun's owner, who lives at the house where the boy was shot.
