WInter Storm Warning in effect until noon Wednesday

A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect until noon Wednesday for the 1470 WMBD listening area. Meteorologists from the National Weather Service in Lincoln now say we could get 6 to 8 inches of snow by the time the event ends at midnight Tuesday night. Most of that accumulation is expected to occur by early Tuesday followed by strong northwest winds gusting up to 35 miles per hour causing blowing and driftng of the snow.
