Democratic candidate for Governor and current Illinois Comptroller Dan Hynes says he saw a key example of his "Clean Start" plan for an innovation economy when he visited the Peoria NEXT Innovation Center Friday morning. During a press conference at Peoria County Courthouse after his Innovation Center visit, he says he was very impressed. Hynes says as Governor, he would make sure projects such as the Peoria NEXT Innovation Center would receive financial assistance to help in operations and not leave funding responsibility to private business. Bradley University is a major contributor to the Center. Hynes is travelling the state to promote his comprehensive jobs plan.
