NATO Leaders Meeting On ISIS Containment

(AP) - President Barack Obama will be meeting today with Jordan's King Abdullah, whose country is caught in the crossfire of the instability in the Middle East.

The meeting is taking place in Wales, where Obama and NATO leaders are considering a possible role in containing the threat from the Islamic State group in Iraq and Syria.

Obama and Britain's David Cameron, writing today in the Times of London, urged their NATO partners not to turn inward in the face of the threat.

Obama and Cameron appear to suggest that NATO should play a role in containing the militants, but were not specific in what action they would seek from the alliance.
