A summertime staple has been soured by a ne'er-do-well.
A lemonade stand being operated by two young girls was stolen from its place in the 2800 block of North Renwood Ave., in Central Peoria. The theft was initially reported around 6:00 p.m. Tuesday. The little entrepreneurs left the stand unattended for only about twenty minutes, but that was enough time for a thief to take everything. A chair, a table, and $10 in profit were reported missing.
Police did not immediately have any leads in the case.
