Salvation Army Needs Your Bikes!

The Salvation Army is looking for new and gently used bicycles.

On Saturday, they are holding their 14th Bikes For Kids event at Junction City.

"We typically bring in 75 to 100 bikes, and over 13 years, we've collected about 1,300.", says Rich Draeger with the Salvation Army.

And, new this time around is a canned food drive. Donations will be accepted at Junction City from 9:00 to 3:00.

Donated bikes will be given to kids at an event on Saturday, June 28th.

Parents can sign up two children per household for a bike beginning Tuesday, June 24th, between 10:00 and noon at the Corps Community Center, located at 2903 W. Nebraska.
