Local Businesses Fail ACE Surveillance

District 8 State Troopers conducted Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement surveillance earlier this week, finding several area businesses involved in the sale of alcohol to minors.

27 locations were surveyed. American Iron Horse Saloon and Party Shoppe in Bartonville, and the Heights BP in Peoria Heights were cited for selling to minors.

Three arrests were made in connection with the busts.

American Iron Horse employee Jacqueline Sturgis, Party Shoppe employee Paul Edwards, and Heights BP employee Satnam Singh were all arrested for Unlawful Delivery of Alcoholic Liqour to a Minor, a Class A misdemeanor.

All three individuals were released, and will appear in court.
