Peoria Man Convicted of 2013 Homicide
A Peoria man is convicted of murder in a double shooting last April, that left one person dead and another injured.
22-year-old Marquis D. Costic faces between 20 and 60 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 27. Costic was convicted of first-degree murder, aggravated battery and mob action in the death of 17-year-old Treyshawn Blakely.
Costic's brother, 24-year-old Michael Costic, is scheduled to go to trial on similar charges this month.
