A Pontiac man pleads not guilty to murder charges.
27-year-old Cody Hetherington was arraigned Tuesday on murder charges in the shooting deaths of his mother and brother.
Police say Hetherington shot and killed Jean Corrice, 57, and Tyler Friant, 22, inside the Palamar Motel in Pontiac back in August.
Hetherington has been scheduled for trial in January.
If convicted of two counts of first degree murder, Hetherington faces a mandatory live sentence.
