A 14-year-old boy accused of firing gunshots into the ceiling of Normal Community high school pleads guilty, but mentally ill. The boy was in court Monday. A teacher tackled the teen and detained him Sept. 7, just after he fired a shot into the ceiling of a classroom. The teen's plea, applies to multiple charges, including armed violence, unlawful use of a weapon. Defense attorney Art Feldman says sentencing ranges from probation to serving time in a detention center, both until he's 21. Sentencing is Jan. 22.
