The man accused of selling Vicodin pills to a Bradley men's basketball player has posted bond.
34 year old Jared Fletcher was arrested along with BU player Will Egolf on New Years Eve. A Peoria County Judge set Fletcher's bond is $20,000.
Peoria County States Attorney Jerry Brady says Fletcher's distribution charge is a more serious Class 2 felony. A conviction could carry 3 to 7 years in prison. Fletcher has had two previous minor run-ins with law enforcement.
Fletcher told the judge duirng bonding he couldn't come up with the 10 percent, or $2,000 dollars. However, a short time after Egolf posted bond, Fletcher also was able to come up the money to leave jail.
Egolf and Fletcher are next in court January 31st.
