Nathan Leuthold has been assigned a public defender again by a Peoria County Judge.
Leuthold is the man accused with the murder of his wife Denise on Valentine's Day.
Thursday, Leuthold told Judge Kevin Lyons he was not able to come up with money to hire a lawyer. So, the judge assigned public defender Tim Penn to take over Leuthold's case again.
Penn first was assigned to Leuthold at his bond hearing. At his arraignment, a plea of "not guilty" was officially entered.
Leuthhold will appear in court again next Thursday.
The judge set a trial date for May 28th and a pre-trial hearing for May 15th.
