It will be another week before a Peoria man enters his formal plea, for his wife's shooting death.
Nathan Leuthold is accused of murdering Denise Leuthold on February 14th in a home on Peoria's far northside.
Leuthold was in Peoria County Court Thursday.
But, he told the judge he doesn't have enough money to hire an attorney.
So, Judge Kevin Lyons assigned public defender Tim Penn to Leuthold's case. Penn handled Leuthold's bond hearing.
The Judge re-scheduled the arraignment for next week on April 18th.
A pre-trial hearing has also be set in May.
Prosecutors also told the judge they are seeking to enter more DNA testing, which could have an effect on court scheduling.
