A Canton grade school is placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure as police arrest what was described as a wanted fugitive.
The lockdown started about 9:00 Monday morning when Canton police were alerted to 42-year old Douglas Hauber's location on information he was suicidal and had weapons.
He was arrested around Noon as he left a house and had no weapons on him. That's when the lockdown at Lincoln Elementary School in Canton ended.
News partner News 25 reports Hauber indicated threats against police, but not the school.
