A Peoria man is behind bars accused of intentionally setting his own house on fire. 55 year-old Rick Grant is charged with 2 counts of arson. The fire early Saturday morning at 511 North Institute Place had spread to two garages. WEEK News 25 reports fire fighters initially found no one home, but Grant was later found hiding in a garbage container. Grant admitted the house was his and he used gas and paper to start the fire. Grant remains in the Peoria County Jail and due in court Monday.
