Skip Stewart says he will be in Peoria this summer. Stewart pilots a modified biplane and the Journal Star reports, although he has not signed a contract, Stewart says will be part of a Prairie Air Show June 8th and 9th along the Peoria riverfront. Air Show officials have not formally announced where the Air Show will be this year, but a news conference is scheduled for Tuesday. In addition, it's reported Peoria officials have no formal requests related to the event, while East Peoria officials say they have a request to close Riverfront Park for viewer access and concessions. But, City Manager Tom Brimberry tells the Journal Star he has not seen anything in writing and he's concerned about logistics.
