The rumors are flying about where a 2012 Prairie air Show will be held. We'll find out for sure Tuesday morning when air show officials make an announcement at the downtown Gateway Building.
Prairie Show Director Brett Krause tells 1470 WMBD's Scott Robbins, all he can officially say is, there will definitely be a show this summer. The rumor mill has speculated the show will be held along the Illinois River in downtown Peoria. But Krause will not say where, just yet.
The Air Show ended it's run last July at Peoria International Airport, for at least one year. The airport authority suspended the contract because of concerns over how the show was operated.
