House fire in Peoria



No injuries are reported from a house fire in Peoria centered in an upstairs bedroom. Firefighter saw light smoke coming from the upstairs of the house at 908 Sumner when they got there just before 4:00 Friday afternoon. Residents who were outside say they got home and saw smoke. All occupants, including one person who was sleeping a couch downstairs and the family dog got out okay. Battalion Chief Ed Olehy says despite weather related problems the fire was out within 10 minutes. The cause is listed as electrical.
