Peoria Police continue to investigate two shootings in the city within minutes of each other Thursday night.  One still unidentified man was shot once in the head and once in the chest, according to Peoria Police Lt. Liz Doyle.  He underwent surgery at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, where he is still undergoing treatment.  That indcident occurred in the 3700 block of Hedge Hill Lane. 

About 5 minutes later, officers responded to the 2600 block of N. Lavelle, where a man was found shot in the arm.  That victim also went into surgery, once he arrived at the hospital.  The conditions of the two shooting victims or their names are still not being released.  Lt. Doyle says investigators are still trying to determine if the shootings were related or not.  Both incidents occurred between 615 and 620pm.
