The YWCA Day Center at 826 SW Adams is open 6:30am to 8:00pm so those who need a warm place, have one. People can enter to get warm or take advantage of the many services the center offers.
The center provides shower services, laundry, kitchen usage, phone access and case management. Case Managers are available to help those displaced in this winter weather find a permanent place to stay.
Also, the YWCA Peoria Cot program at 714 Hamilton Blvd opens at 8pm and provides a safe, warm place to sleep for women, children and families until they can return to the Day Center in the morning.
