Reports of an apparent "school prank" forced a Code Red lockdown at Pontiac High School Wednesday.  Sources indicate a so called "prankster" got ahold of a hand held school walkie talkie and called in erroneous "red alerts" at two separate times, putting the campus on lockdown once for well over one hour. 

The first indcient occurred around 1100 Wednesda )morning.  The alert expired over the noon hour.  Then, at about 130pm, the second "code red" was relayed over the radio system, but no lockdown was called then.  Classes went on as normal Wednesday afternoon.  School officials and police were still looking for the missing walkie talkie and the culprit.
