Bond has been set for a man accused of robbing a Pekin Bank last week.  24 year old Casey Rice is being held in Tazewell County Justice Center following his arrest Friday.  Rice is being held on $100,000 dollars bond pending an initial court appearance, likely on Tuesday.  Rice allegedly stuck up Herget Bank in the 2200 block of Broadway last Wednesday afternoon about 100pm.  Video surveillance from the bank identified him as the suspect.  Residents spotted him in a Pekin neghborhood Friday and alerted police.  Officers then apprehended Rice.  The Journal Star reports Rice as being homeless.
