A grease fire results in burns to a Peoria woman. Peoria firefighters responded to an upstairs apartment at 102 Merriman Court just before 2:00 Saturday afternoon. What started as a grease fire on the kitchen stove spread to the cabinets. One woman suffered burns to her arms and legs trying to put out the fire herself. The fire was contained to the kitchen with the rest of the apartment getting smoke damage.
