Peoria Police are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex just south of downtown early Saturday morning.  Officers arrived to the call of a shooting just after 430am and found an unidentified person had been shot in the area of the head.  The bullet reportedly entered and exited the person's neck.  The incident occurred in the 100 block for Village Green Court.  The victim was rushed to the hospital.  There's no word on the shooting victim's condition.  Police continue to investigate.
