(AP) - Court records show there's a history of violence in the family of a woman authorities say shot her three children and boyfriend before killing herself.
     
Authorities say 30-year-old Sara McMeen of Emington shot 29-year-old Daniel Warren, 8-year-old Skyler Lemke, 7-year-old Ian Lemke and 10-month-old Maggie Warren Friday.
     
Records show that McMeen's father fatally shot his first wife more than 40 years ago in front of their 2-year-old son. The shooting happened before McMeen was born.
     
A jury found Louis McMeen not guilty by reason of insanity in the 1971 killing of Pamela Bradley McMeen.
     
Sheriff's officials say they may never know Sara McMeen's state of mind before the recent killings.
     
They've said they wanted to wait until this week's funeral services were over before speaking to the family in depth.
