The interim President and CEO of Methodist Health Services Corporation is losing the temporary tag. Debbie Simon has been given the full-time job by the Methodist board.
Simon had served as the interim since Michael Bryant's departure earlier this year. Board Chair Karen Stumpe says the board was impressed with the level of trust employees, physicians and the community afforded Simon and they see her passion for the Methodist mission.
Simon has served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer since 1999 and began her nursing career at Methodist in 1976.
