The Salvation Army Toy Shop is open for the next couple of days.
Spokesman Rich Draeger says over 5,000 children will end up with toys. Most of them come from the Marines Toys for Tots Program. Draeger says each child gets a big toy, stuffed animal and board game, along with other stocking stuffers. Older kids get a gift card for Wal-Mart.
He says more help is needed Friday. Anyone interested can call the main office to sign up.
The Salvation Army has given away toys for as long as its doors have been open.
