Lindsey Hall will be the new Superintendent for Morton School District 709 starting July first. Hall, who is current assistant superintendent for human resources for the DeKalb school district, will replace the retiring Roger Kilpatrick. The Journal Star reports Hall will be paid $170,000 year and her contract will run through June of 2015. The Morton Dist. 709 school board unanimously approved Hall's contract. 30 people applied for the job and five were interviewed by the board.
