Three Stark County teenagers are dead after a Tuesday afternoon crash near Kewanee. The Henry County Sheriff's Department isn't providing many details about the crash. Deputies says the victims' names are not being released yet pending notification of family, but the deputies confirm that three people were pronounced dead. Two other people were taken by helicopter from Kewanee Hospital to a Peoria hospital. The teens are believed to be students at Stark County High School. Superintendent Jerry Klooster says classes are canceled there today and grief counselors are being made available. The crash remains under investigation.
