Peoria police are investigating a report of a man being shot. The victim arrived at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center by private vehicle around 7:45 Tuesday night. Police say the man was shot in the armpit area. The victim, who has not been identified, claims to have been shot while sitting in a care near Adams and Stanley Streets. The Journal Star reports officers were able to find glass from car windows and shell casings on Adams Street.
