A sneak preview of a 2012 tax levy will be presented to the Peoria District 150 school board Monday night. The board will meet as a Committee of Whole at Trewyn School. Sources say interim Comptroller/Treasurer David Kinney is expected to recommend a tax levy that will remain the same or could save the owner of a $100,000 home $3 to $5. Meeting as a Committee of the Whole the board hears reports from administators and asks questions, but no formal action is taken. And, while the board is meeting at Trewyn, there will be an update on Carl Cannon's ELITE program's presence at the school. Monday's meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.
