Peoria fire fighters are called to put out a fire in a church building at Main and High Streets. A passerby reported smoke around 3:30 Monday morning and fire fighters found fire inside the building when they arrived. What was the Hale Methodist Church was built in 1900. The building served as a Methodist Church many years and later became Grace Bible Church. The building is now vacant.
