Peoria's HazMat unit monitors air quality while Limestone Fire Fighters put out a fire Monday night inside a building at AZ Galvanizing at 6718 W. Plank Road. Peoria Fire Batallion Chief Mike Morgan tells the Journal Star an air conditioning unit filled with oil was dipped into a vat of liquid zinc. The oil bubbled out and the unit caught fire. There were no injuries.
