A driver of a pickup truck is dead after a fiery crash in Peoria County. The accident was reported by a passerby around 2:10 Thursday morning near Princeville-Jubilee Road and Laura Road near Princeville. Peoria County Coroner Johnna Ingersoll says the full-size pickup headed north of Princeville-Jubilee Road apparently crossed the southbound lanes and entered a ditch. The truck then hit a tree and burst into flames. The victim, believed to be a man from Princeville, has not been positively identified because he was badly burned. An autopsy is scheduled today.
