A Peoria County Jury convicts a Peoria man of killing a Chicago woman. Edjuan Payne is also found guilty on charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery of a child. Orvette Davis of Chicago was found beaten, stabbed and strangled in all alley near Payne's house in the 1400 block of Northeast Monroe in May of 2010. The woman's 8-month old granddaughter was also found with multiple skull fractures. Payne will be sentenced in January.
