Former Dist. 150 principal's trial still set

A Peoria County Judge will allow theft charges against a former Peoria District 150 principal to stand. The Journal Star reports Judge Timothy Lucas denied arguments that the statute of limitation had run out. Mary Davis was charged in April of 2010 with 16 felony counts of official misconduct and theft, accused of taking money from Lindbergh Middle School between 2005 and 2007 while she was principal. Davis' trial is scheduled to begin in January.
