A 14 year old girl has been arrested by East Peoria Police in connection with a "threat" written on a restroom wall at East Peoria High School.  Police say the suspect is a freshman at the school. 

Officers were called to high school on Monday to investigate the message in the female bathroom on the school's 3rd floor.  Officers say the threat was not specific towards any individual and only specified the building itself. 

Detectives and uniformed officers were present again at the high school Tuesday and received several tips which later led to the arrest of the girl.  Investigators says the teen admitted to them during an interview the threat was done because she was bored and she was hoping school would be cancelled.  The girl is charged with Disorderly Conduct/Felony Threat.
